Young Inventors develop application that helps you to take medicine, engineering entrance CET model tests on your mobile
	Four city-based engineers have come up with a novel application by which you can take an entrance test paper for engineering and medicine on your mobile. All you need to do is download the application from their site using GPRS, which is a one time task. After that, you can download the test you wish to take. Attempt model CET on mobile.   Vijay Badhe, Abhay Badhe, Ashok Singh and Pravin Jain have developed this application software. They have also applied for a patent. “Our software compresses the file data so much that all the test data gets downloaded with the help of GPRS within two to three seconds. Also, the format remains universal. Students just need to download a minimum amount of data and they can use CDMA or GPRS mobile phones for the service,” Vilas Badhe said. The mobile test programme was launched last week and was christened TestHub. The developers are claiming that it is India’s first test-on-mobile service.     Badhe said, “Initially, we will provide the tests for the state CET entrance. Students will be able to take practice tests of the All India Engineering Entrance Exam (AIEEE). In the near future, we will include IIT-JEE practice tests.”     With the Testhub service, students can not only solve test papers on their phone, but also submit it online. The benefit of this is, one can get the results within minutes on the phone. Model answer papers are available in the service, besides result and rank analysis. “Currently, the one year package of tests on mobile comes for Rs 999. It will include all the tests available with us,” Badhe said. The application is also valid for personal computers. These four young Puneites run a software solution firm called Wings iNet.
